Champion Goals
- We built a lot in 2025. Now it's time to be intentional—operate, optimize, and grow what we have.
- IT and the business move together—not in parallel. Champions are embedded in the development cycle from discovery through go-live, especially as we advance OneDrive, Airtable, and Tableau.
- Business units own their platforms and SaaS partner relationships—driving ROI, adoption, and continuous improvement. IT is engaged and integral at each step, helping craft interactions and system changes that minimize disruptions and fire drills.
- Champions create the cross-functional visibility we need to coordinate, not duplicate.
3rd Party SaaS Goals
These are major partnerships and significant spend. The business units using these platforms need to own them:
- Drive accountability for vendor performance. Own QBRs, push on pricing, hold partners to commitments.
- Tie platform performance to financial outcomes. ROI reporting, cost justification, impact on the revenue equation.
- Advance and innovate. Learn what the platforms can do, push for enhancements, don't let the tail wag the dog.
- Collaborate across the org. These systems touch multiple departments—champions share context so we're aligned.
- Achieve operational and financial goals. This isn't about the tech—it's about what the tech enables.
Champion Program Details
- This group of people will be people that provide business ownership of a specific tech platform that they are or will be experts on.
- This includes making sure their department and department leaders are communicated with.
- This level of ownership will put more onus on the business on identifying capabilities of systems that they see as valuable to a process or that would drive efficiency.
- Please keep in mind that these should be identified by the Champions with vetting, functionality, and development done in cooperation with IT.
- Each champion will meet with Miles, Brandon, and Tam, the new BI Team lead, on a monthly basis to discuss issues, efforts, and wins.
- More detail below on meeting agenda, length, and cadence.
- The champions will be the primary resource for testing and approval of delivered projects.
- This is separate from the monthly check-ins.
